Meet Tiara

I arrived to bodywork through a lifetime of exploration as a mover. After nearly two decades as a competitive swimmer and water polo player, I had acquired a constellation of injuries and movement patterns. I spent many years navigating chronic pain and symptoms that found no relief. As it turns out, being upright and gravity-bound is quite different than moving through water. Through my own healing journey, I found structural bodywork which offered me not only long-lasting relief from physical imbalances and injuries—it opened a path back home into my body.

I studied at the Soma Institute of Structural Integration — a transformational method of bodywork for fascia. This is the foundation of my practice. To me, bodywork is the meeting space of science, art, medicine, and movement. It is an invitation to curiosity for the human and felt experience of living.

As a practitioner, I am sensitive, curious, compassionate, and playful. Life and the human body endlessly inspire me as a magical and emergent experience.

I am Seattle-born and raised, with Brazilian roots. I’m an artist, a lover of clay, rivers, and dancing. I find deep joy in the mountains and on my yoga mat.

Thank you for being here. If you’d like to explore working together, please contact me. If there is not alignment, I can refer you to resources that may better serve you.

“To be alive in this beautiful, self-organizing universe — to participate in the dance of life with senses to perceive it, lungs that breathe it, organs that draw nourishment from it — is a wonder beyond words.”
