Meet Tiara

I arrived to bodywork through a lifetime of exploration as a mover. After nearly two decades as a competitive swimmer and water polo player, I had acquired a constellation of injuries and movement patterns. I spent many years navigating chronic pain and symptoms that found no relief. Through my own healing journey, I found Structural Integration/Rolfing which gave me long-lasting relief and inspired my path into this field.

I studied at the Soma Institute of Structural Integration, on Whidbey Island. This modality is the foundation of my practice. I find bodywork as the meeting space of science, art, medicine, and movement. It is an invitation to curiosity for the human and felt experience of being alive.

As a practitioner, I am sensitive, curious, compassionate, and playful. Life and the human body endlessly inspire me as a magical and emergent experience.

I am Seattle-born and raised, with Brazilian roots. I love to backpack, spend time in wild places, cook, and dance.

If you’d like to explore working together, please contact me. If there is not alignment, I can refer you to resources that may better serve you.

“To be alive in this beautiful, self-organizing universe — to participate in the dance of life with senses to perceive it, lungs that breathe it, organs that draw nourishment from it — is a wonder beyond words.”
